CBD Infused Luxury
What is CBD?
Otherwise known as cannabidiol, CBD is a natural chemical compound that comes from the hemp plant. Interacting with your brain and body’s CB1 and CB2 receptors, it can be used to benefit a person’s health in a variety of ways. CBD is non-psychoactive which means that it will not get the user high.
Hemp vs Marijuana
To be clear — Cannabis, Hemp, and Marijuana are not the same thing. Cannabis is a family of plants with two primary classifications — Indica and Sativa. Marijuana can be a member either classes, Hemp is a member of the Sativa family. Hemp contains a very low concentration of THC (0.3% or less), Marijuana is abundant in THC with concentrations between 15% to 40%.
